Central Payments Announces New CFO

SIOUX FALLS, S.D., July 23, 2025 Dawn Koenninger was named the new CFO for Central Payments this week. Dawn was Central Payments' CFO prior to the Castle Creek acquisition in 2022. Throughout her 30-plus year career in finance, she has been a trailblazer in both shattering the glass-ceiling, and as a CFO in the fintech industry.

At the same time, Chad Noble, Central Payments' current CFO, will be stepping into an expanded role as Chief Information Officer (CIO). In his new role, Chad will ensure Central Payments remains at the forefront of data quality, integrity, and insights.

As CFO, Dawn will lead Central Payments' efforts to strengthen financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and overall financial discipline. Koenninger said "I am thrilled to rejoin the team and am especially focused on driving clarity and results in our financial performance."

Koenninger is a graduate of Portland State University in Accounting. She lives in Portland, OR. Dawn will split her time between her home in Portland and the Sioux Falls office.
